Better than first
This was a wonderful continuation of the first book. Loved the story and enjoyed the characters. Highly recommend this series.
Nice, cosy mystery with appealing characters. Particularly enjoyed learning about herbal remedies and the role they can play in healthy living.
it's very informative and the mystery is enticing
I really do hate criticizing an author because they do something that I couldn't do , put all those words and thoughts on a page . Having said that however, this book needs more editing. All the information about natural remedies was interesting but the main character preaches rather than shares information and the dialogue is often stilted. Also, I have a personal bias against characters who think they're smarter and better than the police. I know it's a fine line in cozy mysteries , but this character has no respect for the police and just arbitrarily assumes she has the right to investigate a murder, withhold information from the police end blithely question people about a murder as though she was authorized to do so. As I said, there is a fine line coziness street with these issues but this author I think crosses the line .
I couldn't get into this mystery. I didn't finish... I gave up.
