In this episode, I have found the most touching part of the story so far. At the end of part 1, young Harry Hawkins has been seriously injured during the destruction that took place during the Savior's crucifixion in Jerusalem. When Jesus comes to the people of the Americas at the temple in the land Bountiful, He takes pity on the people who wish in their hearts that He would stay just a little longer. He invites them to bring any who are sick, or afflicted in any way, to Him to be healed. I can't read that section of the book without serious waterworks going on. I am touched by that part of the Book of Mormon, and I am touched by that part of "The Feathered Serpent, part 2". I think you will be, too.

I loved these books as a kid and I still love them now.
Being LDS my teenage daughter is always looking for a clean, adventurous book. She has really enjoyed this series. Her older sisters enjoyed reading it when they were teens as well.
I love it because it is so spiritual! And it reminds me of when I was up in heaven! I love it so much!
one of my favorit
I started this series with book 3 while my husband and 11 year old son started with books 1 and 2. We have all loved them and had a hard time putting them down! I hoghly recommend them for all ages!
Tension, action and adventure.
Assassins? Crazy. Mammoths? Crazier.
Bad guys? Pure evil. Good guys? Pure awesome.

We have really been enjoying the Tennis Shoes Adventures. I have been reading this to my children 12, 10, 8, 7, and 3 every night. When ever I finish a chapter and call it a night there are collective sighs of "nooooo", to "read more, read more!"
These books have been fanstatic in taking the reader back to the time of the Nephits and making you feel as if you are the one right in the middle of it. At the end of each chapter he leaves you wanting more. There are a few words that need expalining to my younger kids but this is just another way to help them expand one their vocabulary.
I highly recommend this for any age in the family.
